Newly renovated, four bedroom, 1900 square foot cottage located on the shores of Lake Huron on beautiful Lonely Island, just a ten minute drive north of Sauble Beach in Oliphant. A road links Lonely Island to the main land, so no need to feel deserted! The area is peaceful with ample natural vegetation to give you plenty of privacy in a serene setting.

Out on the patio you can relax in the sun or shade and take in the fresh air while you look out to the water, just beyond the trees. Follow the grassy lawn right to the shoreline, which is a mix of flatrock, rubble and a sandy apron into the water. Entry into the water is gradual with great swimming for everyone in your family. The shoreline deck offers a great spot to sit and watch the kids splash around, or catch a glimpse of a stunning sunset over Lake Huron.

Sauble Beach, a community with shops, ice cream stores and a beautiful public sand beach, is just a 10 minute drive away. There's plenty to see and do in the area, with great day trips that you can plan for family fun all over the Bruce Peninsula - and then head back to the cottage for your own piece of paradise!

SHORELINE

• There is a sandy threshold at the entry and then the shoreline is flat rock with some rubble, gradual entry into the water. Good swimming. Lonely Island public sand beach is located a five minute walk away and is a great beach for children.

• The open staircase may be a concern for those with younger children..

• The nearest boat docking facilities are located 1 km from the cottage (Oliphant Marina).

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

• Cottage is not designed for wheel chair access, However a wheelchair can access the cottage through the side door

LIMITATIONS

• Individuals 16 years of age or older count as adults
• Pets are not permitted.
• Fireplace NOT available for use
• Bunky not available for use for sleeping (it does however store outdoor activity items)
• Renters are responsible to do a full clean of the cottage (cleaning supplies provided) and remove all garbage/recycling at the end of the rental period. If this is not done cleaning/garbage disposal fees will be charged. Please see full cleaning list HERE.
