Three bedroom, 950 square foot, Retreat on the Bay cottage located on beautiful Lonely Island on the shores of Lake Huron just a 10 minute drive north of Sauble Beach in Oliphant.

This cottage is located on an island that has a road linking it to the main land. The cottage is located in a private setting and is only a five minute walk to a beautiful public sand beach. This beach has shallow entry and gradual depth making it great for young children and families alike.

Patio doors lead from the living area out to the lakefront deck. This large deck stretches across the front of the cottage and provides a fantastic, unobstructed view of Lake Huron. This deck uses the trees around it to create a very private area to sit and relax outdoors. It is the perfect place to watch the sunset or to enjoy the view of the moon over the water

A stone patio to the side of the cottage offers a glass patio table, four chairs, umbrella and gas BBQ. This is an ideal place to enjoy a holiday meal outdoors or a cup of coffee in the morning. This patio also offers a view of Lake Huron.

SHORELINE
- Shoreline is flat rock with some rubble, gradual entry into the water. Good swimming. Lonely Island public beach is located a five minute walk away. The approach to the lake is silty sand with some beach grass growing on it. Entry into the water is very shallow, you must walk out quite a distance for adequate depth of water to swim or Sauble Beach is an 10 minute drive.

- No on-site docking facilities. The Oliphant Marina is located 1 km from the cottage
WHEELCHAIR ACCESS
- Cottage is not designed for wheel chair access.
LIMITATIONS
- Maximum Occupancy: 4 adults or up to 5 people with at least 1 child in the group. Individuals 16 years of age or older count as adults.
- Pets are not permitted.
- Fireplace is not for renters use.
- Renters are responsible to do a full clean of the cottage (cleaning supplies provided) and remove all garbage/recycling at the end of the rental period. If this is not done cleaning/garbage disposal fees will be charged. Please see full cleaning list HERE.
