Charming 3 bedroom, 1000 square foot cottage located in the heart of the community of Sauble Beach - just 50 metres to the beach, and 700 metres to the downtown shopping area of Sauble.
Inside, the kitchen offers many of the amenities of home including fridge, stove/oven and microwave. The adjacent dining table offers seating for six by bright windows that bring in the natural light. Throughout most of the year you can see Lake Huron while standing in the kitchen or out in the backyard.
In the comfortable living room you'll find a couch, a reclining chair and another lounge chair where you can relax after a day at the beach. The 42" HD TV offers satellite and a DVD player for your entertainment (helpful on rainy days with the kids!) and there is also a gas fireplace to keep you warm in chillier weather. Sliding glass doors off the living room lead out to the deck space.
There are three bedrooms at this cottage, two of which offer a double bed. The third bedroom has a set of single bunkbeds - great for the kids in your group. The bathroom is a four-piece with a combination tub/shower.
Out on the deck you'll find a patio table and chairs, an umbrella
as well as loungers so that you can take in the fresh air. A propane
BBQ can cook up your favourite grilled dinner and is an excellent
way to enjoy dinner outdoors.
At the end of a fun day, continue making memories around the campfire using the outdoor fire pit. Listen to the waves in the calm of night while roasting marshmallows and making plans for tomorrow!
The sandy shores of Sauble Beach are just 50 metres from the cottage
and it is an easy 700 metres to the "main drag" of Sauble
where you'll find shops, ice cream stores and eateries as well as
the iconic Sauble Beach sign welcoming you to the main beach. The
water is shallow entry and is great for the kids to splash around
and then gets deeper for fantastic swimming. Rent a paddleboard
for some fun on Lake Huron, or rent a canoe or kayak on the Sauble
River for a paddle to Sauble Falls.
The cottage is located in a great location for a day trip to Tobermory, Lion's Head and Wiarton to check out the Bruce Peninsula. The area also offers great trails for a variety of activities and outdoor enjoyment - that is, if you want to leave the beach!
