Amazing week away on a beautiful Tobermory property

We were a family of four (two adults and two teens) that stayed for a week at this cottage and it was wonderful. This cottage is very spacious with so much natural lighting. What makes this cottage so unique is the large grass frontage area with lots of room to play bocce ( we brought that) and croquet and badminton which is supplied by the cottage owners. The cottage is situated right on the bay with shallow water entry for a long distance. The cottage supplies two kayaks which we all loved and ventured many times to see the shipwrecks. The water is so clear and beautiful and it’s no surprise many people flock to this area. You can walk into town without issue (15 min). The cottage is well stocked with every kitchen item /utensil you could need and the kitchen is super spacious. The teens loved hanging out in the basement away from the adults. The firepit is perfectly situated by the water and the views are amazing. We enjoyed watching ChiCheemaun dock and depart each day. It became our ritual to announce its arrival 3 times daily. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to experience Tobermory. We did all the tourist things such as visit the grotto and a boat cruise to Flower Pot Island. The cottage owners were so wonderful to deal with when we had a small issue. The only thing we would note are the geese that like to hang out on the property and leave their droppings. We developed a system to scare them aware but you do need to stay on top of it or else there is geese poop to clean. It wasn’t a huge hinderance in the end. We would definitely rent this property again.
