Not the cleanest cottage but spacious

This cottage was spacious enough for a family of 12, however when we arrived it was full of cob webs, inside & full of ants. We couldn’t leave anything out as the ants would get to the food. Let’s not add the fact that we had no AC(we knew that already) the windows did nothing, the way they opened had no airflow throughout the house whatsoever. Lower level was cooler, but we noticed more bugs & webs as of no one has ever dusted the picture frames or wiped down any windows. Fans that were provided helped a bit, but it was definitely hotter upstairs than downstairs. We were disappointed about the cleaning list we had for check out, left us thinking if anyone ever made the effort to give this house a good clean before they rent it out. It had its ups & downs. We loved the private backyard with fire pit & upper deck with BBQ. It was a bit far of a walk to the main beach, we had to pay to get rid of garbage (drive to landfill was 10mins) but good space for 12 people & good thing we were allowed to bring our dogs! It was a quite & nice neighbourhood! But I wouldn’t come back to this house, it wasn’t as clean as we thought it would be!
