Well equipped cottage close to great beaches

The cottage is located in a very quiet sub division only a short walk from the nearest beach which was small but never busy. We found that some of the beaches in the area were very pebbly on the shoreline compared to Sauble Beach and we’d recommend water shoes for those with sensitive feet but nearer to and including Ipperwash we found more sandy shorelines.
The cottage thankfully had a window A/C unit as the week we stayed was extremely hot and the cottage also had ceiling fans in the dining area and main bedroom and a large floor fan we found in the basement which assisted with the airflow throughout the cottage as the upper lounge area would get very warm during the day. The owners were quick to answer any questions or issues we had which included the oven which quit during our stay but was repaired very quickly. As I mentioned the cottage was well equipped and we were able to utilize a toaster oven and the BBQ for our evening meals while the oven was repaired. As per the information sheet provided by the owners we took full advantage of the excellent restaurant nearby called Skeeter Barlow’s. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
