Please Note: The water levels in Ontario have been fluctuating in recent years. Therefore, some of the photographs of shorelines/beaches on this website may not fully reflect current waterfront conditions.

Charming 2 bedroom, 860 sq ft, waterfront cottage nestled in on the shores of Cameron Lake just south of Tobermory.

All the living area of the cottage is located on one floor with an open concept main living area. Large patio doors allow natural light to filter into the cottage.

The shoreline at the cottage has a shallow entry, and provides access to good swimming. The best thing about swimming in the clear waters of Cameron Lake is that the water temperature is not influenced by the frigid undercurrents from the Great Lakes and Georgian Bay. From the shore or from the dock you can supervise the kids playing in the water, or you can take your morning coffee out to watch the beautiful sunrises over the lake.

Great time but one problem

By: Trip Date: 07/11/2020

Nice cottage. New bunky was super. Exactly as portrayed on website. Neighbours were lovely. Beautiful view. Easy to find. One problem – developed swimmers itch (which is caused by parasites in lakes with ducks, geese, etc) which looks like bug bites.

Thank you for taking the time to review the cottage.  Unfortunately swimmers itch can be contracted when swimming in lakes, bays, rivers or any natural body of water, it’s not harmful to people but can be itchy.  It is always suggested that you towel off well when you get out and have a quick shower to rinse off to avoid this. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your holiday in this beautiful area.  ~ Rentcottage.com
