Fabulous stay

By: Trip Date: 07/04/2020

Our family of 4 plus our dog had a great time at the Lady Alice on Manitoulin Island – we enjoyed swimming in lake Huron (swim shoes help) and in particular the gorgeous sunset swims we had each night. Lake Huron has become our favorite swimming lake – the water is very clear and you can sit on some of the submerged rocks and enjoy the waves. The sound of the waves, the wind in the trees and the birds chirping add to the ambience. The Lakehouse is charming and fit our family perfectly – the AC was also much appreciated on the hot days. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Manitoulin Island itself was a calm oasis – the pace there is truly different than Toronto.
